Festival MITA presents its 2023 schedule
Confirmed the presentations of Lana del Rey,
Florence + The Machine, The Mars Volta, Flume and Haim
The festival will bring back to the stages of the group NX Zero, the rock of Capital Inicial, the reggae of Natiruts and the swing of Jorge Ben Jor
A total success in its first edition, which took place in 2022, the MITA Festival arrives this year with the same spirit of innovation, animation and irreverence that marked its debut. The event takes place again in Rio de Janeiro, on the 27th and 28th of May, and in São Paulo, on the 3rd and 4th of June. Music is the highlight, uniting national and international names, many already established, meetings and reunions.
MITA is a daytime event, with a diverse program capable of uniting audiences from different groups and generations. The concerts will be divided into two stages, with more than 16 attractions per weekend, in large spaces where the public will also have a series of activities.
Among the highlights of the national programming is the return to the stages of NX Zero, after a break. A strong and exclusive point of the programming are also the encounters – like Djonga inviting BK and Planet Hemp with Tropkillaz.
In the year that celebrates 50 years of the acclaimed album by Arthur Verocai, a Brazilian musician and conductor who has performed with the biggest names in MPB, the public will be able to see an unforgettable meeting on the stage of Rio de Janeiro: Verocai and the young Canadians of BadBadNotGood.
MITA is produced in partnership by Bonus Track, by Luiz Oscar Niemeyer and Luiz Guilherme Niemeyer, and 30e.
MITA tickets go on sale on February 1st, Wednesday, from noon, on the website and at the official points of sale. The event provides the Social Ticket, accessible to all the public, and part of its income reverts to MITA's partner institutions of social and environmental responsibility.
